Kuwait, a nation hailed as the pearl of the Gulf, was the first Gulf Arab country to establish diplomatic relations with China. Over the years after the diplomatic ties was forged in 1971, both sides have always treated each other as equals and supported each other, becoming trustworthy friends and partners bonded by sincere cooperation. In particular, the establishment of China-Kuwait strategic partnership has opened up a new chapter of bilateral relations. Our win-win cooperation, as led by the two heads of state, has flourished in a wide range of areas and enjoys broad prospects. I believe that China-Kuwait friendship and cooperation benefit the two countries and peoples, and more importantly, will make a bigger contribution to regional and global peace and development.

The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the State of Kuwait is committed to cementing the longstanding friendship between China and Kuwait and deepening bilateral practical cooperation.
