Important Notice on Fingerprint Collection of Visa Applicants by the Chinese Embassy in Kuwai

According to relevant Chinese laws and regulations, the Chinese embassy in Kuwait will, starting from 12 October 2020, entrust the Chinese Visa Application Center to collect the ten fingerprints of all visa applicants including Kuwaiti citizens.

The following categories of applicants are exempt from the aforementioned requirement:

 

1. Children under the age of 14 or applicants above 70 years old.

 

2. Holders of diplomatic or special passports, or applicants who meet the requirements of diplomatic, courtesy, service visas. 

 

3. The applicant applying for a Chinese visa once again within the next 5 years will not need to be collected the fingerprints again.

(It must be collected by the same Application Center with the same passport)

4. Persons for whom the collection of fingerprints is physically impossible.

 

Please be noted that applicants shall provide their own fingerprints in person at the Chinese Visa Application Center. Applicants who forge fingerprints or use other people’s fingerprints will be denied entry to China and shall bear all the consequences themselves.
