On July 24, 2024, Ambassador Zhang Jianwei visited the local Chinese Visa Application Service Center situated in Kuwait City.

Ambassador Zhang heard a briefing by the center’s working staff on the service process and had cordial talks with visa applicants on the spot about their opinions and advice. He said China is always working to further facilitate personnel exchanges between China and Kuwait and welcomes more friends from Kuwait and other nations to visit China to enjoy the beautiful scenery, have a taste of cuisines and explore cultural diversity, adding that this will enable them to experience the charm of China in the new era. While extending his regards to the working staff, Ambassador Zhang stressed that for many foreign friends, approaching the visa application center is their first step to learn about China. He expected all staff to keep offering applicants more attentive and efficient service in a warm and friendly manner.

Applicants on the spot expressed satisfaction with the center’s service and facilities. They also applauded the greater facilitation offered by the Chinese side, including launching the Guide to Payment Services in China and the Guidelines for Foreign Business People Working and Living in China.
