Kuwaiti Leaders Extend Condolences to President Xi Jinping over Xizang Earthquake

On January 8, 2025, the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and Prime Minister Ahmad Abdullah Al-Sabah sent their respective condolence message to President Xi Jinping, expressing sincere sympathies over the Xizang earthquake which caused mass casualties.
On the same day, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait also expressed, in a statement, sincere sympathies to the families of the deceased and wished those injured a speedy recovery.
