On February 12, 2025, the Chinese Embassy in Kuwait held a ceremony to mark the 60th anniversary of the historic visit of the late Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to China. At the event, a Silk Road-themed song praising China-Kuwait friendship produced by the Chinese Embassy was released.

This original song, wonderfully melodic and tuneful, is intended to commend the profound friendship between the two peoples. It conveys the shared aspiration of both countries to forge ahead along the Silk Road routes toward a brighter future.

The song is co-performed by Chinese singer and CGTN reporter Ma Ye and Kuwaiti singer and actress Hanin Hamid. It is written by Kuwaiti musician Hamid Ali with music composed by Dr. Hasan Shenawi.
