Kuwait is known as a shining jewel in the Gulf and an oasis of safety in the Middle East. Here you'll find azure seas and skies, as well as the sounds of camel bells echoing across the desert; there are numerous oil drilling rigs scattered throughout, and uniquely designed skyscrapers. Guided by the "National Vision 2035," the Kuwaiti people have achieved remarkable development achievements.

Kuwait was the first Gulf Arab country to establish diplomatic relations with China. The two sides have always been good friends and partners who support each other, trust each other, and share a common destiny. In recent years, President Xi Jinping and Kuwait's Emir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah have met twice and reached a series of important consensuses, jointly outlining a new blueprint for the development of the China-Kuwait strategic partnership and injecting strong momentum into cooperation in various fields between the two countries.

Currently, China-Kuwait relations are at a crucial stage of building on past successes and continuing to forge ahead. All my colleagues at the Chinese Embassy in Kuwait and I will firmly implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, continuously enhance strategic mutual trust between China and Kuwait, actively promote mutually beneficial cooperation, and wholeheartedly serve Chinese institutions and citizens in Kuwait.
