Chinese Embassy in Kuwait Holds a “Chinese Cultural Night” Event

On November 26, 2025, the Chinese Embassy in Kuwait and the China Cultural Center in Kuwait jointly held a “Chinese Cultural Night” featuring food, music and Mandarin activities. The event was attended by over 800 participants, including Charge d’Affaires Ad Interim of the Chinese Embassy Liu Xiang, Assistant secretary-general of Kuwait’s National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters Al-Anoud Ibrahim Al-Sabah, diplomatic envoys in Kuwait, and friends from various sectors.



Liu Xiang, Charge d’Affaires Ad Interim of the Chinese Embassy in Kuwait, held cordial talks with the guests present, noting that the event aims to use food as a bridge and culture as a link to foster a closer bond between the two peoples. China stands ready to work with the Kuwaiti side to strengthen exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations, carry forward our traditional friendship and contribute our share to the vision of building a community with a shared future for mankind.



At the event, musicians from the China Conservatory of Music staged a classic Chinese folk music performance. Students and teachers from Kuwait Qinghe Chinese Institute and Kuwait Chinese Association (KCA) Chinese school recited classic Chinese poetry and delivered speeches, showcasing their Chinese language skills. Alongside the performances, the event also offered culinary stations and cultural workshops that allowed visitors to try delicious Chinese dishes and experience Chinese craftsmanship. Guests said they were captivated by the unique flavor of Chinese delicacies and the fascinating charm of Chinese culture.
