On June 18, 2026, Chinese Ambassador to Kuwait Yang Xin paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Hassan Mohammed Al-Fajjam, Director General of the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) in Kuwait.

Ambassador Yang Xin said, China and Kuwait enjoy profound traditional friendship. Under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and H.H. Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, bilateral relations have developed rapidly, creating good opportunities and broad prospects for bilateral cooperation on vocational education. China attaches great importance to vocational education and endeavors to steadily advance high-quality development of vocational education across the country. China stands ready to deepen exchanges and cooperation with Kuwait in the related fields.

For his part, Dr. Hassan briefed Ambassador Yang on vocational education in Kuwait and highly praised China’s achievements in this field. He also expressed the hope that Kuwait and China would establish cooperation platforms to deepen exchanges and cooperation in this regard, in order to contribute to the realization of Kuwait Vision 2035 and add new substance to the China-Kuwait strategic partnership.
