On June 29, 2026, Chinese Ambassador to Kuwait Yang Xin paid a courtesy call on Kuwait’s Assistant Foreign Minister of Legal Affairs Tahani Rashid Nasser.

Ambassador Yang Xin said, under the strategic guidance of H.E. President Xi Jinping and H.H. Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, China-Kuwait relations have developed steadily over recent years, with bilateral cooperation deepened in various fields. China stands ready to work with Kuwait to enhance cooperation in legal affairs, and effectively implement the cooperation agreements between the two sides, so as to benefit the two peoples.

For her part, Tahani spoke highly of China’s achievements in its social development, saying that she felt proud of Kuwait-China strategic partnership. She expressed willingness to work with China to provide legal safeguards for the deepening of bilateral cooperation in various fields.
