On June 29, 2026, a reception was held by the Chinese Embassy in Kuwait to mark the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC), drawing over 200 attendees including Chinese Ambassador to Kuwait Yang Xin, Kuwait’s Assistant Foreign Minister for Asian Affairs Nawaf Abdullatif Sulaiman Al-Ahmed, Kuwaiti friends from the royal family, the government, the industrial, commerce, culture and education sectors, as well as representatives from the Chinese institutions in Kuwait and local Chinese communities.  

In his speech, Ambassador Yang Xin looked back on the glorious journey the CPC has traveled over the past 105 years, stressing that under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the CPC is leading the Chinese people in building a great country and advancing national rejuvenation on all fronts through Chinese modernization. The CPC is a party committed to pursuing happiness for the Chinese people and the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. It is also dedicated to pursuing progress for humanity and harmony of the world. China stands ready to work with Kuwait to better align our development strategies, deepen practical cooperation and jointly advance toward prosperity and strength.  

Guests at the event warmly celebrated the 105th anniversary of the CPC’s founding. They spoke highly of China’s historic achievements, and wished the Chinese people continued success under the leadership of the CPC.
