On July 19, 2026, Chinese Ambassador to Kuwait Yang Xin called on Abdulaziz Al-Marzooq, Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment of Kuwait.

Ambassador Yang Xin noted that China-Kuwait strategic partnership has kept deepening, with bilateral cooperation growing steadily in investment and other fields. China’s 15th Five-Year Plan reaffirms our country’s commitment to expanding high-standard opening up, which will create more opportunities to deepen mutually-beneficial cooperation between the two sides. China stands ready to work with Kuwait to unleash greater dynamism of two-way investment so as to contribute to our respective economic and social development.

For his part, Abdulaziz commended China’s development achievements and spoke positively of the notable results of bilateral cooperation in the field of investment, saying that China’s commitment to sci-tech innovation and sustainable development provides stability to the global economy. He looked forward to a new chapter of high-level bilateral cooperation in investment.
